OUTLOOK EXPRESS CONFIGURATION

Configuring E-mail Settings

1. In the Tools menu, click on Accounts.

   

    

2. In the Internet Accounts dialog box, click on Add, then click on Mail.

   

    

3. In the Display Name box, type the e-mail address that you would like others to see when you send e-mail

   

    

4. In the E-mail Address box, type the e-mail address provided to you by GeniousNet Bangladesh (i.e. yourname@geniousnet.com)

   

    

5. a.  E-mail Server Names will appear. Click POP3 as the type of server to work with (the default type) as the server type to use.

   b.  Now type in the Incoming Mail (POP3) server name as [mail.geniousnet.com] 

   c.  Now type in the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) server name as [mail.geniousnet.com] provided to you by World Net Bangladesh.               

   d. Click on Next when you're finished.

    

   

    

6. Internet Mail Logon:

   a.  Account Name- Fill out the POP account name or your e-mail user name.

   b.  Password- Now type the password in Password boxes.

   c. Click on Next when you're finished.
   NB: Your email account username and password are not the same one provided to you by World Net when your account is activated. your default password is (GeniousNet). You must change this password from web mail.

   

    

7. Congratulation
   
   You have successfully entered all of the information required to set up your account.
   To save this settings, click finish.
